Golf Instruction and Lessons

Resort Golf School
Our three hour golf school features a maximum of three students per instructor to ensure outstanding personal attention. The small class size, along with the extensive use of video reviews, drills and proven teaching aids, will give you the tools required to improve your game. Classes are available Monday through Saturday. Cost is $175 for one day or $325 for a two day session. Extension 2022.

Golf 2.0 Clinic
Learn the fundamentals and develop your game on one of the country's best courses, under the guidance of golf professionals. You'll leave feeling confident in your skills and secure in the
basics, ready to play anytime, anywhere. All equipment is supplied. Classes are by appointment and last 90 minutes. Minimum of two students per workshop, maximum of four. Cost is $95 per person. Extension 2022.

Private Instruction
One-on-one lessons are often the catalyst that sends you to the next level of play, no matter your experience. Sign up for a workout with one of our first-rate professionals and you're sure to see results. Lessons run from 50-60 minutes. Cost is $95 per person. Extension 2022.

In Search of the Perfect Swing (Video Analysis)
In this 90-minute session, instructors will record your short and full swings to review and develop both immediate and long-range plans for improvement. The most comprehensive tool available to understand your strengths and weaknesses, a videotaped lesson is a valuable experience for anyone who is serious about improving their game. Cost is $125 per person. Extension 2022.

Drive for Show, Putt for Dough Clinic
Learn the basics of putting through a series of drills and visual aids. This video taped putting lesson will give golfers of all levels improved confidence in their putting skills. Cost is $125 per person. Extension 2022.

Ladies on the Links
Ladies, don't let the game of golf intimidate you. This two hour clinic will familiarize you with the rules and etiquette of the game. Our golf professional will introduce you to the swing and general golf fundamentals. Cost is $125 per person. Extension 2022.

Enjoy unlimited golf throughout your stay for three consecutive days. Cost is $249 per person for adults and $125 for juniors age 15 and under. Prices do not include a $25 cart fee per person.

Playing Lessons
Our teaching professionals will accompany you for a few holes and evaluate your technique, course strategy and equipment. Your instructor will recommend an improvement plan tailored specifically to your goals. Cost is $145 for a 90 minute session. Extension 2022.
Please note: Playing lessons are geared towards seasoned golfers looking to improve on course skills.

Golf Motion Assessment
A lack of flexibility through the hips and trunk can be a major hindrance to a good golf swing. After conducting trunk, neck and hamstring flexibility tests, your personal trainer will review
stretches you can do on your own to increase and maintain your flexibility. Cost is $65 for 50 minutes. The Oystercatcher Restaurant & Bar
Located in the Sweetgrass Inn lobby, The Oystercatcher Restaurant & Bar is a lively gathering place where guests can kick back and enjoy shared moments over fresh, local cuisine, and craft cocktails. The restaurant’s menu includes chef-crafted small plates, highlighted by fresh, local seafood delivered daily, including oysters on the half shell prepared four ways.

The Laughing Gull
Located adjacent to the Sweetgrass Pool, The Laughing Gull provides centralized fun and relaxation at the heart of the Resort. A casual bar and restaurant, The Laughing Gull serves a laid-back menu of beachside favorites like burgers, sandwiches, fresh salads, and frozen cocktails

Huey’s Southern Eats
Located in the Links Course Clubhouse, Huey’s Southern Eats is a restaurant featuring Southern staple dishes with a local twist, plus a full bar with specialty cocktails, wine and beer. Guests have the option to dine inside or alfresco and soak in panoramic views of the Links Course fairways. Open daily for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is served Wednesdays – Saturdays.

Coastal Crust
A destination for the whole family to indulge in wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizzas and Italian-inspired dishes. The pizzeria’s dough and crushed tomato sauce are made-from-scratch, in house. Coastal Crust sources local ingredients whenever possible and uses traditional recipes to deliver old-world style and Italian flavors while staying current with today’s trends. The eatery also features a full bar with fine wine, craft beer, and specialty cocktails. Coastal Crust is open daily and located on the Sweetgrass Plaza.

Beachside Burgers & Bar
A laid-back, guest favorite for oceanfront dining, located at the end of the boardwalk at the Grand Pavilion. With alfresco bites and beach grill favorites, Beachside Burgers & Bar is the perfect pit stop for a slushy tropical drink, frosty beer, and refreshing ocean breeze. The Sweet Shoppe
Located on the Plaza, The Sweet Shoppe offers a wide variety of tasty treats and creative confections. From specialty candies to bulk favorites, it’s the perfect place to satisfy your sweet tooth and find something delicious for every craving.

Hudson’s Market
Also located on the Sweetgrass Plaza, Hudson’s Market is the ideal stop for a specialty coffee, deli sandwiches and refreshing beverages, or for a quick meal and delicious ice cream. This cozy little market is home to a large selection of sundries, wine and beer, cheeses, fresh baked goods, fruits and veggies, s’mores to-go, and other treats. Guests can also enjoy a selection of gifts, accessories, local goods, jewelry, and more. Upon request, Hudson’s Market also delivers groceries right to the guest’s door.

Woody’s Eatery
Located conveniently next to the Harbor Pro Shop and Tennis Center, Woody’s Eatery is a casual, grab-and-go or dine-in eatery, serving breakfast all day, convenient hot and cold sandwich options for lunch, and a variety of cocktails, wine and beer on draft.

The Nest
The Nest cultivates a cocktail culture rooted in trendsetting menus that feature local craft beers, buzz-worthy cocktails, and delicious small bites. Perched atop the Sweetgrass Inn, star mixologists raise the bar with bold beverages that have turned The Nest into a favorite among tourists and locals.

Onsite Spa Services

The Spa at Sweetgrass is a 10,000 sq ft destination spa where guests retreat, rejoice, and reset mind and body.
